X-Rite's Color Control Freak '08 series moves on to its fall schedule offering an in-depth understanding of color, its value in the design process and techniques for proper reproduction.

The one-day interactive seminars equip design professionals with the latest color knowledge and tools, exposing a new level of design freedom. Industry experts will teach the basics in color trends and psychology, as well as how to collect, build and specify color that remains consistent from screen to print.

Among many things, you can learn how to work with different color systems (RGB, CMYK and spot colors), how to get better screen-to-print color matching, how to use monitor calibration to improve color editing of both created and captured graphics, and how to use in-house printers for accurate prints and proofs.
